Today, I'm shedding light on the menacing ransomware virus, with a personal account of my encounter with the NUIS variant.

As an IT enthusiast, I've always been vigilant about online security, knowing that a single careless download can compromise your entire digital life.

Yet, on October 22nd, 2022, I fell victim to a hacking incident that left my files, passwords, and external drive encrypted.

The attackers demanded a staggering $980 for the decryption key.

I was taken aback, realizing that even the most cautious among us can fall prey to these cyber threats.
